HOW DOES A HYBRID SOLAR SYSTEM WORK?


During the day, the solar array provides electrical energy to supply building loads and the charge in a solar battery bank. A hybrid solar system is programable to provide the following functions-


1.  Reserve energy during blackouts with automatic transfer to reserve. 


2. Electricity supply to heavy loads such air conditioners and pumps. 

   The loads work directly off the solar system and are synchronized with sun intensity thereby reducing 

   the electricity costs.


3.  Solar electricity supply during peak hours (peak shaving).  

    

4.  Automatic operation of a gas or diesel generator during extended blackouts in case solar supply is not sufficient. 


5.  Supplying 220/240VAC loads from a 115VAC energy source such as a generator or public grid.
